Item is not a gem, or crystal. The center piece is cheap very thin plastic. The plastic ‘gem’ is hot-glued to the metal and pretty poorly at that, there was a string of hot-glue draped across the back of the plastic ‘gem’ and you could see it through the other side. The metal is unidentifyable, something super-cheap and light weight. Chain is the super-cheap toilet chain. Overall total cost for this item probably ran up to 30 cents, over 100 times less than their asking price. Likewise shipping probably cost about 50 cents, over 10 times less than their charged shipping.
After contacting seller for refund I was informed that if I payed for shipping AGAIN to send their piece of trash back to them I would be refunded. May as well hang next to my computer as a reminder to investigate items closer before buying. Maybe thats what this thing is, a talisman against buying cheap crap. I’ll update later as to how it is working for that purpose.
