It’s a beautiful necklace. I haven’t worn it out yet. I did try it. On two times. Due to several reviews about the necklace breaking easily I tried to be careful. The first time was fine but the second time the clasp broke. I’m not a fix it up kind of a gal but I’m pretty sure this is a cheap and easy fix. Just go to a craft store and get a new clasp. The rest of the necklace feels sturdy, though I’ve yet to wear it out. The necklace is not stiff at all. It looks great on.
